There are many things that can affect the operation of your computer.
Environmental:
Poor power, static electricity, dirt & dust, excessive heat, liquid spills and misuse.
Mechanical failure:
Fans stop spinning, switches and buttons stop functioning, or keyboard keys stick.
Component failure:
Monitor with no display, hard drive failure, power supply failure etc.
Capacity Issues:
Hard drive is full, network is busy or the system is running out of available memory.
Operating changes:
Problems occur after new software or drivers were installed, or existing settings being changed
like video resolution or something in the CMOS setup.
